Level 3 WSET® qualification in Wines
Level 3 offers a solid understanding of the factors that explain the style, quality and price of the world’s leading still, sparkling and generous wines.
The qualification will help those who need to make professional wine evaluations in terms of style, quality and price. Those who obtain this qualification will be able to describe the characteristics of the world’s leading wines and advise on them with sound knowledge.
- To professionals who have a WSET Level 2 Qualification or an equivalent level of experience that they can accredit and who wish to progress in the knowledge of the different wines of the world.
- Professionals who wish to obtain a certification with international recognition in order to strengthen their professional career in the wine sector.
- To amateurs who have a WSET Level 2 Qualification and wish to continue to deepen their knowledge of the world’s wines.
The evaluation will be carried out through a theoretical exam elaborated and corrected by WSET London and a practical tasting exam. The theoretical exam consists of a multiple-choice part of 50 questions and another part of 4 questions to be answered by writing short answers.
In order to pass it is necessary to obtain a minimum grade of 55% in each of the theoretical parts and in the tasting. The exams will usually be held on the last day of the course, after the end of the sessions.
