  • Course: Galician vitivinicultural geography:

    We will spend three days better understanding the characteristics of the 5 denominations of origin of Galicia, grape varieties, soils and climates. To reinforce the important concepts well, we will have two learning sessions at breakfast.

  • Agenda:

    Spend 3 days (2 nights) to indulge yourself in the wine culture of Galicia, meet our vineyards, landscapes, climates and, above all, our wine producers. Classes and visits will be combined, since it is the best way to learn and enjoy: every day we will review together the basic characteristics of each zone (varieties, climates, soils, etc.) to better understand the vineyards and the wineries we visit. We’ll visit two wineries each day and we’ll taste wines from other wineries at lunch time, including wines from Valdeorras and Monterrei and also from lesser-known areas.

    • Day 1: Rías Baixas (night in O Ribeiro)
    • Day 2: Ribeiro (night in Ribeira Sacra)
    • Day 3: Ribeira Sacra
  • Addressed to:

    Professionals (warehouses, distributors, and hotel business) who wish to learn more about Galician wines, our vineyards and some of the leading producers. Although formatted trip, this is a technical course, which devote our time to visit wineries and vineyards and trained on different areas of wine production in Galicia.

  • Previous knowledge:

    They are not necessary but it is convenient to have professional relationship with the wine sector.

    Small groups to let us enjoy the details.
